Wagon rolls....8.12.05

OJ went on the road again on 25th November and Olwyn is progressing well.

Iguazu Falls were truly amazing and we cannot speak too highly of Neri, our guide. He worked really hard pushing Olwyn in her wheelchair up and down long steep ramps so that she would get the best views of the Falls, and nothing was too much trouble for him. His charges were most reasonable, too. Neri has been involved with a number of film making teams who´ve visited Iguazu, including those who shot The Mission. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian and German.

For those in the future who visit Iguazu and wish to contact him, he is:-

We are now at Tornquist, Argentina, where it is bitterly cold at night and coolish during the day - very different from Marilia (our erstwhile home town) which was hot all day and all night. Most of our travelling now is over flat lands where there are cattle and crops ad infinitum. We are in hills just now but they are the exception this side of Argentina. Yesterday we photographed the greatest number of flamingos we´ve ever seen.
