FROG STORY 2

As is my wont I needed to go to the loo about 2am. At Porto Manga the 5 of us slept in one bunk house with an én suite´attached. The usual happened.
"Do I use the torch, or as at home not trouble with a light? I will use the torch as one never knows what creepy crawlies might be around!" The loo seat was down so I lifted it, and there clinging to the side of the bowl was a nice fat frog. "What do I do?" The thought of using the loo with the frog in situ was not an option. I encouraged it out with the end
of an empty loo roll, and much to my relief it went. The thought of what could have happened - I don´t want to entertain.

FROG STORY 3

Each room had its own ´house frog´or 5 or 6. They obviously live off the flies and bugs that abound in the evenings. They are a rather lovely yellow/green which seems to turn to dull frog brown with age or size. Their feet have sticky pads and when they jump onto the walls they stick very firmly or can simply walk. Our house frog appeared to have its favourite
corner to live in - as also did the ones in our eating area. I recall that in W. Africa how each room had its gecko or lizard, and it is interesting to see across the Atlantic that it is frogs instead.
